Overall this mini mill is fine. As might be expected on a piece of machinery shipped from overseas, the machine was covered in cosmoline. To remove the gunk completely requires disassembly of the mill. By definition a mill is supposed to be a relatively accurate tool.

You can complicate things and make a taper to fit your mill spindle as well, but I suggest for a first project, just make it a 7/8" straight shank to hold in a collet. smt
